Palna Children's Ministry is founded on this beautiful verse of Scripture:

"Then people began to bring their little children to him so that he would touch them, and when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the children come to me and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God."

Palna Children's Ministry works for the spiritual development of children, independent of all ecclesiastical boundaries, and ensures that "Children's rights are our responsibility." Talents should be nurtured, and a spiritual environment should be provided for their evangelization. To achieve this, various programs are organized for children, detailed below.

Conducting Weekly Ecumenical Saturday Class

Palna Children's Ministry conducts various activities to instill the love and importance of Christ in Christian children. One of our key initiatives is the Weekly Ecumenical Saturday Class, where children from different churches participate in two age groups: Group No. 1 (4 to 8 years) and Group No. 2 (8 to 14 years). Here, they learn the Word of God and develop their spiritual skills. Palna Children's Ministry serves not only as a spiritual training center for children but also as a platform for nurturing their personalities and qualities. Just as a strong foundation ensures a stable and enduring building.

Objective of the class:

  • To convey the message of the Gospel to children through videos and various activities.
  • To foster mental, physical, social, and spiritual development in children.
  • To enhance children's spiritual abilities.
  • To increase the spiritual abilities of children.
  • To boost children's self-confidence.
  • To ensure children's rights, including freedom of expression and access to opportunities.

Programs to develop children's rights-based spirituality (Annual Christian Children's Convention);

The Children's Ministry upholds the rights of children—such as freedom of speech, access to opportunities, and mental development—to foster Christian education, spiritual growth, and Bible study among young children. The ministry, like a beacon of light from the Talent Academy, continually illuminates the spiritual futures of these children with God's grace.

With this mission in mind, we organize an annual Christian Children's Convention focused on rights-based spirituality. At these conventions, children from various churches showcase their spiritual talents through activities like speaking, praying, playing musical instruments, and singing Christian songs, glorifying God's name. Countless children have already discovered and developed their spiritual gifts through these events.

Indeed, our ministry serves as a nurturing ground akin to a seminary for young children, where innocent souls are enriched with the precious teachings of Jesus. This experience not only influences their minds but also enriches their souls with Christian love. Through this work, we strive to glorify His name in our lives, seeking His guidance in this world and welcoming His blessings in the hereafter.

Programs to increase the ability to read the Bible

The Palana team has observed that many Christian children show a low inclination towards studying the Holy Bible, and despite attending large congregations, they struggle with correct pronunciation and understanding.

With this goal in mind, the Palna Foundation has been running a program for the past five years to distribute free children's Bibles and workbooks in various churches, including those in Azad Kashmir. This initiative aims to encourage daily study of the Holy Bible among children, thereby enhancing their comprehension and study skills.

Awareness program for children

In response to contemporary challenges, Palana Children's Ministry conducts awareness programs to educate children about issues such as sexual and physical violence, self-protection, health-related concerns, gender discrimination, and other relevant topics. These programs aim to equip children with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and address current challenges effectively.

National and religious festivals and programs related to physical development

The Children's Ministry organizes national festivals (Independence Day, Defense Day), religious festivals (Easter, Christmas), and physical development activities (games, picnics) for children. These events aim to foster national patriotism, instill devotion to religious festivals, and emphasize the importance of physical development among children.

Various disaster relief, education and financial assistance programmes

The Children's Ministry also ensures timely assistance to children and their families affected by national tragedies, and provides support for education and financial needs.
